Best Beauty Buys on a Budget – All Under $10

April 17, 2017

I’ve always been a person that likes to save money. Whether it’s food, clothes, or accessories, I actively look for the best deals I can possibly find. The biggest obsession that I have is definitely buying is makeup, which also has the biggest impact on my wallet. I enjoy shopping at Sephora, however being a college student and still seeking a career, I don’t always have the funds to do so. So, lately I’ve been experimenting with shopping at lower price stores, such as Forever 21, CVS, and Target. The results shocked me, because I paid a quarter of the price for a great beauty product that had the same effect as a more expensive product.

We all deserve to feel beautiful and be able to purchase the cosmetics we want at an affordable price. I don’t want women to stress over purchasing these items, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. For both a high quantity and high quality buy, here are my favorite beauty products for under $10.

1. Makeup Blender Sponge Set

Originally, the BeautyBlender costs $20 for just one small applicator. At Forever 21, you can get two colorful blenders for the price of $5.90. These sponges are just as soft, including different shapes and an easy grip, which I prefer better.

2. Forever 21 Cosmetic Brush Set

You can also get an entire brush set for a bargain at this store. Makeup brushes can be very expensive, so I greatly enjoy this 5-piece set for only $8.90. I easily use all of them for my foundation, blush, eyes, and brows.

3. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer

With a hectic schedule, I never get enough beauty sleep to achieve bright eyes. This is the first concealer I tried that really makes the dark circles under my eyes invisible. Just a little product goes a long way in brightening your eyes, and for a low price of $9.99.

4. Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream

If you’re going to purchase any face product, consider Maybelline’s BB cream. Currently on clearance for $5.77 at Target, this is an 8-in-1 formula that actually works. I can effortlessly conceal, color correct, perfect, and protect my skin no matter where I go.

5. Rimmel Kate Sculpting Cosmetic Set

Why waste your money on separate cosmetics when there’s a palette that has it all? Rimmel London put together a highlighter, bronzer, and blush, making the perfect contour kit. I get the same defining results with this $6.49 piece, and I’m never switching to another product again.

6. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eye Pen

I love felt tip pen eyeliners, and love when they truly stay on all day. Revlon’s liquid eyeliner is one of my favorites, since it lasts long, is smudge-proof, and glides on smoothly. You can even create a soft line or a more dramatic line. It’s only $6.99!

7. L'Oréal Paris Infallible 16HR Never-Fail Eyeliner

Don’t forget your waterline and underneath your eye! This $7.19 pencil doesn’t fail, for it is long-wearing and super creamy, perfect for those with sensitive eyes like myself. It also includes a built-in sharpener and smudger, which is very handy.

8. L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Intenza Waterproof Mascara

One aspect I’m very picky about when it comes to mascara is if it’ll come out clumpy. Once I tried this butterfly mascara, all my worries were gone. The brush is very unique, and my lashes naturally fan out with tons of volume. Longer lashes for $8.99, yes please!

9. CoverGirl Outlast Lipcolor

This product is America’s #1 long-wear lip color for good reason. It doesn’t smudge or smear, and is food-proof (and kiss-proof)! I don’t even need Chapstick with this gloss. It keeps my lips moisturized, smooth, and soft all day. Did I mention it’s on sale now at Target for $7.59?

Hope you try these products out and love them as much as I do!!! Don't forget to find me on Instagram and check out FIT's Blush Magazine for more beauty articles!

Xoxo,

Gina
