Spring/Summer Beauty Favorites 2017

April 3, 2017

As the weather gets warmer, my go-to products begin to change. During the spring and summer months, we start worrying about SPF and our makeup melting off throughout the day. I'm not one to wear a full face of makeup in the heat, so my routine becomes a little less intense and I start to use more lightweight products. Today, I'm going to share some of my favorites!

1. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20

I've used so many tinted moisturizers, BB creams, and other similiar products over the years, but this has got to be my favorite. It's a higher end product, so it's on the pricier side, however it's lasted me about a year so far because a little goes such a long way. This product won't weigh you down and blends into the skin so flawlessly. An absolute must have for the summer.

2. CoverGirl Clump Crusher Mascara in Waterproof

This is my all time favorite mascara. It separates the lashes nicely while coating each and every one evenly and thoroughly, leaving you with full, but still natural looking lashes. It's buildable, so you can create a more dramatic look if desired, and the waterproof option makes it the perfect mascara for a day at the beach.

3. Stila All Over Liquid Luminizer in Kitten

I love using this champagne liquid highlight on my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, cupid's bow, and browbone when I'm not wering a lot of makeup. It glides over the skin so easily and creates an effortless dewy look that I've never seen any other products be able to duplicate. This product lasts a while as well. I purchased it about a year ago and I still have a decent amount left. Sometimes, I even use it as eyeshadow on extra lazy days.

I hope you enjoyed hearing a little about my favorite products for the upcoming seasons! I use them almost every day and always get compliments on my fresh, dewy look. Now you know my secrets! Maybe next time I'll include what I use for a night out in warm weather. Talk soon!
