Make it a very Merry Christmas (or Chanukah or Kwanza) for the animals too! Every beauty blogger out there is going to have product recommendations for the holidays this year, but many of those products were probably tested on adorable, innocent little animals. Yeah, the same ones you share videos of on Facebook…. So let’s switch it up this year!
None of these stocking stuffers caused animal suffering of any kind. I know… that makes your gift 10 times better already. These five products are things I’ve personally used and would love to receive as a gift. So if you’re on a budget and looking to get your beauty junkie friend (or your vegan beauty junkie friend) a gift this holiday season, you’ve come to the right place!
Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid lipstick: All vegan and lasts all day. I’d go with Lolita, unless your gift recipient has a specific request, because its super flattering. I’ve used it on so many clients and I haven’t seen it look bad on anyone yet!
Emjoi Micro Pedi Nano: I know we’re all wearing boots now, but spring break is closer than you think! Get your feet in tip-top shape at home with this tiny little tool. It gets the job done and will barely take up any space in your beauty bag. This is a must try for any of your skincare or nail care loving friends.
BH Cosmetics Eye Shadow Palettes: I’ve used blushes and eye shadows from this brand on so many of my clients. Have a makeup artist friend? Get them a palette- they’re super affordable and yet still somehow SO pigmented, long lasting, and sleek looking. As a makeup artist, I’d LOVE to receive this as a gift. Also, supporting independently owned brands is always great.
Buxom Full On Lip Polish: This is the only lip gloss I use. It’s long lasting, plumping, and oh yeah, it comes in 98 SHADES. It’s the best lip gloss I’ve used and I no longer see any reason to use any other brand. A must buy.
Urban Decay: Any of the NAKED palettes. I have four of the seven and I use them all regularly. They’re amazing and you can use them for any occasion. If you’re on a budget, go with one of the naked basic palettes, and if not, just pick whichever goes best with your friend/brother/sister/whoever’s skin tone.
I hope this little list gives you more time to watch Elf so you can stress less about shopping!
